From our understanding of the great outdoors we've come to recognise there are sometimes extraordinary moments when we're out there doing what we love that shape our everyday lives. The desire to capture these moments grows with each and every new experience. The use of high quality 'performance' equipment can only help capture these experiences and enhance them.

As a bunch of active outdoor sports enthusiasts, in 2005 we had the idea to set up a company and bring some of the World's best outdoor equipment into the UK. Whilst Wellard & Scott continues to build on its core business of distributing and supporting big American names in fly fishing like Scott Fly Rods, Nautilus Fly Reels, Rainy's Flies, Clear Creek Luggage and Solano Sunglasses, we're just as proud to bring you a range of great products from equally well known companies like Vango, Trangia, Fanatic, Pro-Limit, Gul, Nookie, Delta and Alder to name just a few.

In a fairly short period of time we've quickly outgrown our first premises and in 2007 re-located in the heart of the South West of England, just 300yds from the A30, half a mile from Roadford Reservoir Water Sports Centre and just 15 miles from the breaking surf of the Atlantic Ocean and Dartmoor National Park.

Whether you're out for the all-inclusive family day out on the water, casting a dry fly to a rising brown on the middle of a moorland stream or seeking extreme sea kayaking around our beautiful coastlines, we share in your passion for adventure.
